About Us

Hi! My name is Steven, founder of Leaping ponies. I wanted to take the time to quickly introduce myself and provide some personal background, leading to the start of this business venture!

I originated from a small, country town in Maine, where I was born and raised. I was an only child until 8 when my little sister was born. When Alayna came into my life, even at a young age I recognized our bond would forever be unique and strong. Together, we were forced to overcome adversities given to us in life, solidifying our sibling dynamic. I had developed a parental type, protective nature over Alayna throughout the years, leading me into pursuing a career in the child development industry.

At the age of 16, I secured my first nannying job while a student in High School, begining to learn as much as I could. This was my first real opportunity to be around somebody else’s children and it just became the perfect fit! Throughout the rest of my time in Maine, I continued to work as a nanny and started work at a daycare, learning all of the ins and outs. In this time, while toggling college courses, was when the initial idea of Leaping Ponies came to vision.

As I entered into my early 20’s, I made the decision to move to Wellington, Florida. Almost immediately upon my arrival I met my now partner Brett, who supports and encourages my dreams. We have two beautiful dogs, one of which refused to get his picture taken. I work for a wonderful family on Palm Beach where I am responsible for their two awesome boys, ages two and five. Encouraging the launch of Leaping Ponies, we have coordinated a schedule conducive to both, the boys and this business. In my free time I love playing tennis, reading and exercising. I look forward to meeting many new families during my journey of expanding Leaping Ponies. See you there!

My mission is to foster a love of learning in your little ones, through creative lesson plans and prompts.
